On November 11, 2025, the annual health tourism expert forum "Annual Medical B2B Workshop" was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, organized by the Azerbaijani tour operator "ALEAN COMPANY". The event brought together leading medical, rehabilitation, and wellness service providers and tourism professionals.
Lithuania was represented at the event by Eglės Sanatorija. The event showcased the potential of Lithuanian health tourism, emphasizing the high quality of services, modern infrastructure, natural healing resources, and the country's attractive environment for relaxation and health promotion.
Intensive B2B sessions were held during the forum, during which many valuable contacts were established with representatives of the tourism and medical sectors in Azerbaijan and the region, and possible areas of cooperation and partnership were discussed.
During his visit to Baku, Evgeni Brish, sales project manager at the Eglė sanatorium, visited the Lithuanian Embassy, where he met with Ambassador K. Vaškelevičius and the embassy team. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for further cooperation, increasing the visibility of Lithuanian health tourism in Azerbaijan, and possible joint initiatives in the future.
