Regarding applications for temporary residence permits and national visas of the Republic of Lithuania
In accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Legal Status of Foreigners of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of the Interior formulates, coordinates, and controls the implementation of state policy in the field of control of the long-term stay and residence of foreigners in the Republic of Lithuania. In recent years, with the growing number of foreigners arriving in the Republic of Lithuania, the implementation of the Republic of Lithuania's migration policy focused on foreigners who come to work in jobs requiring high professional qualifications, come for the purposes of science and studies, to conduct scientific research or experimental development work, or to teach at Lithuanian science and study institutions.
Foreigners belonging to these categories will be able to submit applications for temporary residence permits at the Migration Department's external service provider branch in Azerbaijan.
Foreigners planning to travel to the Republic of Lithuania for family reunification, intra-company transfers, or to join a major investor or collective relocation in accordance with the provisions of the Investment Law will also be able to apply for temporary residence permits in Azerbaijan.
Foreigners coming to study under international student exchange programs, going to work as lecturers or researchers, athletes, seafarers, journalists, entrepreneurs (company shareholders/directors), and foreigners arriving under the provisions of international agreements could apply for national visas at the Migration Department's external service provider branch in Azerbaijan.
