Lithuanian and Ukrainian Ambassadors visited Khazar University
On October 9 Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Azerbaijan Kęstutis Vaškelevičius and Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev visited Khazar University in Baku, where they met with the university’s rector, Dr. Razia Isaeva, faculty and students. The ambassadors introduced the Lithuanian and the Ukrainian languages and participated in a discussion with students on Lithuanian-Azerbaijani and Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations.

During the visit, opportunities for closer academic and cultural cooperation, the importance of academic exchanges, as well as the importance of mutual understanding and multiculturalism were discussed. This visit to Khazar University was part of the program of events organized by EUNIC dedicated to the European Day of Languages.
