Fifth meeting of Lithuania-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation took place
The 5th meeting of the Lithuania-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation took place on 27 October 2017 in Vilnius. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius and Fazil Mammadov, Minister of Taxes of Azerbaijan, chaired the meeting.
During the meeting, bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, transport, energy, culture and tourism, agriculture, communications, science and education, information technologies and health protection.
After the meeting, the parties signed two agreements: intergovernmental agreement on the exemption of visa requirement for holders of service passports and interservice agreement between the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan and State Tax Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania on administrative mutual assistance in the area of exchange of information and tax recovery.
