Concert of Friendship Marks Prime Minister Ruginienė’s Visit to Azerbaijan

A memorable evening of music and friendship was held at the National Art Museum during the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, Inga Ruginienė, to Azerbaijan.
The concert brought together the cultural traditions of Lithuania and Azerbaijan through music. The choir of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory performed the national anthems of both countries, while the talented students of the Bulbul School presented works by Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, Uzeyir Hajibeyli, and other distinguished composers.
The Embassy of Lithuania expresses its sincere gratitude to the National Art Museum and its Director, Shirin Melikova, for hosting this meaningful cultural event. We also extend our appreciation to the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, under the artistic direction of Honored Teacher Tarana Yusifova, and to the Bulbul School for their inspiring performances.
A special note of thanks goes to the young musicians and their teachers, whose talent, dedication, and passion created an exceptional atmosphere and vividly reflected the spirit of cultural dialogue and friendship between Lithuania and Azerbaijan.
We were honoured by the presence of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Adil Karimli, who highlighted the remarkable talent of Azerbaijan’s young musicians.
