Celebrating Re-establishment of the State of Lithuania and Re-establishment of Independence of Lithuania

The Day of Re-establishment of the State of Lithuania and the 25th anniversary of the Day of Re-establishment of Independence of Lithuania were solemnly commemorated in Azerbaijan on the 5 March 2015 at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall in Baku. On this occasion, Petras Geniušas and Liudas Mockūnas performed a music improvisation „Sea in the Forest“, which takes its inspiration in the works of M. K. Čiurlionis. The numerous guests were greeted by Ambassador of Lithuania in Azerbaijan, Valdas Lastauskas, and the Co-Chairman of Lithuanian – Azeri Intergovernmental Commission, Minister of Taxes of Azerbaijan, Fazil Mammadov.
