Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania has presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Lastauskas has presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on 9th September 2014.

After the ceremony the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed his satisfaction over the development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania. Ambassador Valdas Lastauskas thanked the President for a warm welcome.

In the discussion it was agreed that there are good opportunities to develop further the bonds between our states in the political and economic domain, as well as within the framework of the initiatives of cooperation between the EU, NATO and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
